Just a wee note to say how pleased I am with the fence that Jimmy and the lads have just erected at my house in Coatbridge. Having had work done in the past by a variety of local companies I can say, without fear of contradiction, that it's been the best value for money work carried out on my property. I am thoroughly delighted with the quality of my 12x10 shed. I was erected quickly and many of my neighbours have commented on the great interior size and the quality of the wood, especially that used for the ceiling and floor. Only one downside, my children have commandeered it for a den, so I may be back to buy a smaller shed to put all my garden tools and bikes in!!!

we tried a few places for a quote to supply and build decking some like gavin mcdonald forgot to get back to us or ross from torrance did not even get back to us We went into Jim on the tuesday the chap came out on the wednesday to measure and quote we agreed the price he said he would start at 10am on the thursday he was there at 10 on thursday and the a realy good job was done the same day

I recently had Jimmy arrange a 6ft fence to be fitted 50meters round my garden. He offered a quote the same day and then arranged to send Joe(the fence specialist) out to survey the garden and confirm the date and work involved for the job.

The guys were true to their word and removed my old fence and fitted the new fence in one day, really great workers.

I'd happily recommend the guys at Barras Shed company to fit a garden fence, very good workers.

I have just moved in with my partner and was bringing with me the contents of a two bedroom flat. My partner's home could only accomodate a certain amount of my belongings + I have a motorbike and all the accessories that go with it. I contacted Jimmy who along with his grandson William were a delight to deal with. I had to go into hospital for hip replacement surgery and wanted all my belongings under lock and key before I went in. Jimmy and his team were able to lay a slab base and erect a 12'x10' DD workshop within a week of ordering.

What can I say, I ordered my 9x6 double door workshop by phone at about 11am on Monday. Amazingly the Barras sheds boys arrived with it at just after 9am on Tuesday morning.

From a very warm welcome at The Barras H.Q. to discuss my requiments and a look at the show huts on Friday afternoon I placed my order. Monday morning saw my old hut demolished and removed and Tuesday morning saw my new hut delivered and erected. You cannot beat that for service and the hut is a credit to whoever manufactured it. I had been looking for a new office building for some time. I wanted a log cabin style building. I have literally travelled the length and breadth of Scotland looking at various options. High quality meant astronomical prices, within my budget meant poor quality so the project was on hold till I found The Barras Garden Shed Company.

It was a Eureka moment when we stepped through Jimmy's door and saw the highest quality, beautifully finished range of log cabins. And when we sat down to discuss prices I had to keep on asking "are you sure?" The cabin was delivered in less than two weeks and erected a few days later. It is outstanding and I cannot recommend highly enough this option f you are looking for extra room, whether it be for an office or a summer house or just somewhere to escape to away from the family. Jimmy kept us informed every step of the way and when we found that one screw was missing, he organised a complete new part when he could just have sent us into B&Q!

I built my Gotland 4m x 3m cabin purchased, through Jimmy at the Barras Shed Co. and was very impressed with the quality of the product and the ease with which it could be constructed. I also received excellent help in choosing the right cabin for the purposes for which I wanted it. The cabin was delivered on time and with an excellent set of working drawings and instructions. All the bits were included and the basic construction was finished in two days by two people starting from scratch with only basic DIY skills.
