You recently fenced in my small back garden which previously was unfenced and more like a field than a garden. The boys came round and within four hours had erected the fence and also did a bit of landscaping on the wonky land so that the fence sat nice and straight.

I just wanted to say a big thank you for all your help when I recently purchased a 10' x 16' garden workshop and 8' x 6' greenhouse and had my existing shed re-sited in the garden.

You gave me good advice when I asked about providing access from the rear of the workshop directly into the greenhouse.

When your men arrived to build the workshop, they built it exactly as requested to a high standard and were finished in no time. The greenhouse has fitted very nicely onto the adjoining base. Your men were very professional and paid good attention to detail when building it. The end result is fantastic.

I can now open the rear double doors of the workshop, slide the greenhouse door and walk in. Great for potting up plants and having quick access to the garden tools. It's particularly handy for staying dry in our climate! I'm sure we will have many happy and fruitful years pottering around in our new garden buildings.

I went on to the website when I was working in Malaysia and sent Jimmy a drawing of what I required, after a few phone calls and a helpful conversation with Jimmy he agreed to build and fit it on a certain date. True to his word the boys arrived on the exact date laid the base and erected the shed and left the place as they found it.

Hi, I purchased a shed from yourselves recently and would like to commend your company on the level of service I received, I placed my order and within minutes I received a phone call to inform me of when my old shed would be demolished and when my new shed would be delivered. Although I was not at home when my shed was demolished I was impressed at arriving home and my old shed was gone, not a trace left.

Although I was also unavailable to take delivery of my new shed and not having told the guys where it was to be situated I was amazed on my return from work to see my new shed fully erected where my old shed had stood. Great service from a great company, no problems whatsoever with my purchase, dismantling and erection of new shed, despite my absence at all times. I will use your company again in the near future to replace my other elderly shed and look forward to your outstanding customer service once again.

I bought a shed from the Barras Shed Company a couple of weeks ago. I had gone into this shop in Glasgow after doing extensive research on the internet. I met 'big Jimmy' and he was most helpful. He tied up the whole transaction within 15 minutes. His men came out and demolished and removed my old shed and the next day a new team came and erected my new one. They didn't stop for a minute. I am delighted with my shed which is looking lovely now that it has been given a double coat of protection. I would recommend this company to anyone. Great value and great service!

Took a while to get round to posting ( wanted to see how the fence & decking stood up to the winter after getting installed last September.

We had a new 6' x 25' long fence put up side of garden and a decking handrail 8' x 10'.

I live in South Queensferry (8 miles from Edinburgh) and met Jimmy in Gran Canaria a few years ago and thought about giving him a try

The quality, cost & workmanship were very good and would have no hesitation in using Barras sheds again (if you fancy coming 45 miles through to South Queensferry

Well you promised that we wouldn't be disappointed and we weren't. Jim and the lad turned up when they said they would and even phoned just beforehand to say they were on their way. As soon as they arrived they started digging holes for the posts and in no time we had our new fence. I had been looking for a new office building for some time. I wanted a log cabin style building. I have literally travelled the length and breadth of Scotland looking at various options. High quality meant astronomical prices, within my budget meant poor quality so the project was on hold till I found The Barras Garden Shed Company.

It was a Eureka moment when we stepped through Jimmy's door and saw the highest quality, beautifully finished range of log cabins. And when we sat down to discuss prices I had to keep on asking "are you sure?" The cabin was delivered in less than two weeks and erected a few days later. It is outstanding and I cannot recommend highly enough this option f you are looking for extra room, whether it be for an office or a summer house or just somewhere to escape to away from the family. Jimmy kept us informed every step of the way and when we found that one screw was missing, he organised a complete new part when he could just have sent us into B&Q!
